With over 28 years’ experience, John has progressed from apprenticeship to senior leadership, managing cross-functional engineering and design teams across complex environments. He has led major network migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure transformations, ensuring adherence to best practice, regulatory standards, and architectural frameworks. His expertise includes infrastructure design, technical specifications, and modernisation strategies such as SDN, Zero Trust, and edge computing.
John adopts a collaborative, people-focused approach, mentoring teams to drive technical excellence and continuous improvement. He champions Agile, DevOps, and PRINCE2 methodologies to enhance delivery efficiency, while maintaining a strong client focus through effective risk, change, and dependency management. He also oversees multi-million-pound budgets, contracts, and procurement activities.
At LakeRidge, John leads the end-to-end delivery of complex network solutions, including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, fibre, data centre, wireless, and cloud connectivity, acting as a senior escalation point for executive stakeholders.
