We’re incredibly proud to announce that LakeRidge Solutions has been appointed as the principal contractor for the brand-new Stoke Mandeville Private Rehabilitation Hospital, opening in Summer 2027, in partnership with Active Care Group and WheelPower.
This marks a significant milestone for our business and reflects the strength of the relationship we’ve built with Active Care Group through the successful delivery of previous specialist healthcare projects.
To be entrusted with a development of this scale is something we’re extremely proud of and demonstrates how quickly LakeRidge continues to grow within the healthcare sector.
It was a pleasure to attend the project launch and hear from Keith Browner CEO of Active Care Group, Victoria Fields Director of Active Neuro, and Steve Brown Lived Experience Director at Active Neuro, as they shared the vision behind this incredible new facility.
Designed around the specific needs of those who will use it, the hospital will combine personalised therapy, advanced rehabilitation technology and purpose-built environments to support people recovering from spinal and neurological injuries with world class technology to help empower staff and patients.
For us, this is far more than another construction project. It’s an opportunity to help create a facility that will have a lasting impact on people’s recovery, independence and quality of life.
